I haven't heard of Ghiblies before, so I searched it up on Google and found its cartoony art style reminiscent of My Neighbor the Yamadas.

As for Tales of Earthsea, it's pretty cool that Disney and Ghibli have acknowledged its existence by including it in the collection. The reason why I say this is because on social media (especially on Twitter) the reaction towards the movie seems to be, "We don't speak of that one." Not trying to point fingers at anybody, as they have the right to express their opinions of the movie.

Count me as one of its unapologetic, non-ironic fans hoping for a future 4K release--flawed as it is, it's still a beautiful movie in several more ways than one.

Yeah, it should definitely get one even with its mixed reception.

anyone else find it weird that the English dub is being included with the Japanese Blu-Rays?

Nope. Anything from Ghibli or Geneon/Universal seems to always included both language tracks on their releases.
