60th anniversary? I thought SEGA had been around since the 1940s. SEGA is short for Service Games, because they were games for American GIs serving in American occupied Japan.

I was curious about this myself, so I looked it up. It's the anniversary of Sega's incorporation in Japan - https://segaretro.org/Go_Sega

Bit of a mistake in the article - The games are being released daily.

Armor of Heroes is available now.
Endless Zone will be available on the 16th.
Streets of Kamurocho will be available on the 17th.
Golden Axed: A Cancelled Prototype will be available on the 18th.

All will be available until 10am PST / 6PM BST October 19th.

Thus far Armor of Heroes doesn't seem to be set as a timed exclusive sort of thing(like their "Play for free over the weekend!" sorta deals.), so I'd bet on still being able to play the games after the promotion. Just make sure you add them to your library while they're available. Smile

What is it with anniversary releases and weird artificially-restricted availability? Between this and the Mario 35th stuff...

A clone of SoR 2 with Yakuza, better than nothing. Golden Axe was forged in the fires of hell btw:

The Yakuza Streets of Rage clone looks rather nice, maybe I'm going to check that one out.
