As expected, not surprising. I hope this airs for Spring 2018 again and be another faitful adaptation.
Great news to hear!

After being reminded of the disappointing clusterf**k of the Digimon Adventure tri series seems to be getting worse by the minute, it's nice to be reminded of a quality series like My Hero Academia getting the great treatment that it deserves as it greatly rewards fans and not treat them like morons that doesn't bother answer any important questions like tri keeps doing.
Anyways, My Hero Academia is confirmed to be getting a third season? Sign me up! The second season has been a blast to get through as I have never been so happy and be so invested with a shounen series for a long time since Fullmetal Alchemist! Can't wait for more!

Take that, naysayers! Especially mr. Pierrot. Looking forward to some great stuff, bless Bones for being so great!

This is the best news I've heard all week even if it was kind of expected.

So either 13 or 24 episodes at max.

Really? i thought that would be 50 episodes...
Anyway, s2 will end in the chapter 70, so there's a lot of material to adapt, and will have even more when S3 starts probably on spring 2018, so would be very silly to not make 25 episodes again.

Forest school arc and rescue arc right? Right!? Don't just leave us on the giant cliff that is the forest school arc!
Now all we need is S2 announcement of Made in Abyss and all will be right with the world.

You also have to consider how busy the animation studio is. As of now, Bones are one of the most sought after studios by various companies in Japan, especially when it comes to adapting a source material that has a lot of action. 25 episodes would't be bad, but I won't be upset if we get 13 episodes either.
This is the new best way of doing battle shonen adaptations.

Huh are you talking about me? I never implied it won't get a third season. Just that it won't be having the same timeslot and will be airing at latenight instead like Haikyuu!!

Not surprising since it's the highest viewed season series airing at the moment (or recently finished)

Are they? That would be surprising. I like Academia and Kekkai Sensen but it's been along time since Bones have been in their prime and a lot of their shows perform average to poor.
