Ballance has been restored in the universe. Funimation partnered with CR and let them handle the subs. Thus Funimation stoped sucking, and sombody had to step up to suck the most. Sentai is going above and beyond to suck more then Funi did and become the most hated. Godspeed.
I'm hoping that because of the paywall few people watch the shows Sentai licenses, thus selling very few home video discs. Less exposure should translate into less sales, I hope.

I'm given to understand that this is generating a lot of negative feedback to Sentai. I would suggest also contacting Amazon if you are a customer and especially if you are a US Prime customer since this is the only place with the double paywall. Be respectful, but be firm and let these businesses ( and their managers ) know that you aren't happy and will take you business elsewhere.

Hell, even Netflix getting streaming rights would be better than this. Netflix might not simulcast, but at least their subs are (usually) good, they aren't locking anime behind a double pay-wall, and their video player is far superior to Amazon's.

Spring just got two series' lighter. Oh well. Guess that means that I'll have more time to get through my backlog.

Looks like Amazon is putting some money into the anime streaming game. Not sure Sentai is the bad guy here, they're just trying to survive after Crunchyroll pulled the rug from under them.

So did Sentai just finish hibernating during the Winter?

It seems like or just waiting until Strike was fully ready to go on licensing spree

Welp, half the shows I wanted to watch are now on Anime Strike. Not going to waste money that I don't have for them.
Too bad I was actually wanting to watch this one.
Just need to pray that Sentai does not get Sakura Quest, that is the only other show I am looking forward to this season.

what makes everyone think this is Sentai's doing.
as far as I can tell, they may be just distributing Amazon's licensed anime like Funi is doing with CR's anime.
Amazon is bigger, in all ways?, than CR; so Sentai hooking up with Amazon is smart.

A double-paywall is one paywall too many. Pass.
I don't blame Sentai per se, but I hope Amazon is paying them enough to offset the loss of sales this will generate.

I was curious how Sentai was suddenly ramping up its licensing. I wasn't necessarily surprised to see multiple announcements since they were otherwise having to get by on what CR/Funi didn't license, but it seemed unlikely that Sentai could just up its licensing bids that easily.
