When anime reaches a fair amount of popularity and comes to the US to be played on national TV it gets dubbed. While there are some very good dubs out there, there also is some absolutely HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, (did i say HORRIBLE), HORRIBLE dubs.
For instance I love Naruto, but good thing i dont watch it on cartoon network because in my opinion it is the worst dub EVER! So I thougth we all should deem our personal WORST DUBS EVER: |

Sorry, but the whole dub. vs. sub thing is real old. It's all just a matter of opinion and personal preference, and it really shouldn't affect how anyone other than yourself enjoys anime. Just stick with what you know or like. There's no need to rant about it. Ranting only leads to disagreement, disagreement to agitation, agitation to flaming, flaming to locking, etc. It's an Endless Waltz, so I'll just spare the trouble of dealing with it and prevent the fire now using a gust of Wind.
Enjoy your Junko Takeuchi over Maile Flanagan, while I enjoy Scott McNeil, Brian Drummond, Paul Dobson, David Kaye and Ted Cole over Chris Sabat's horrible job of trying to play each of their characters (note, that's my opinion). |
