I wonder if there'll be a Generation II patch coming up later, as well as subsequent generations. I also wonder if Japan's parody laws are lenient enough for this to continue to exist.

For those wondering the difference between parody and spoof:
Oxford Dictionary defines spoof being "a humorous imitation of something, typically a film or a particular genre of film, in which its characteristic features are exaggerated for comic effect". Parody is "an imitation of the style of a particular writer, artist, or genre with deliberate exaggeration for comic effect". Yet, they still can be very ambiguous when it comes to IP. |
