At this point. Sword Art Online and Akame ga kill are well known and more popular in the US and/or overseas than japan (I guess).

Barakamon deserves this. It was my Anime of the season for summer for sure. The character interactions and the comedy was the best.

Barakamon had decent sales, but not sure if it was enough to warrant a second season. Interesting to see it on the top of the list.

How do you figure that?
And how would you measure the popularity of said titles? Sheer number of people watching it? How much country X's fans support the show by purchasing the BDs and merch?

I really enjoyed Captain Earth, and don't understand why it gets so much hate. But Glasslip on the other hand wasn't very good...
The majority of the shows I watched this season are on rather high places on the list, so I'm pretty happy with that!

Barakamon on #1 and Locodol on #4 pleases me greatly. Also, Space Dandy 2 on #17 is higher than I expected it to be.

I hate to be that person, but that mistake makes my eyes bleed...
My favourite show of the season was Gekkan Shojo Nozaki-kun. I initially didn't expect to like it that much as I got bored of Oresama Teacher, by the same author, after 4 volumes. She seems to have got the hang of writing jokes which are actually funny for this series. I also really enjoyed Free and Love Stage, as well as Zankyou no Terror (that ending song still gets me).
It's also nice to see SAO not at the top of a list for once.

Wow the two shows I liked the most actually got on top! Sad to see Space Dandy so low but it's not surprising seeing it wasn't that popular in Japan.

#1-2 pretty good! I'm a bit disappointed at how high aldnoah zero was but the low rank of terror in resonance please make up for it.

Hmm so this is just Nico Nico-based?
I haven't seen most this spring titles as they struck me with a sense of dullness. But Barakamon getting top is quite a feat. I don't have a strong bias point of view on SAO II since I actually hate it but I thought it could go for the top since it's damn popular despite its... whatever.

Man, I REALLY hope we get to see a Barakamon S2 soon - easily the most enjoyable out of all the shows this season for me.
