I heard about this from Kotaku and various game sites, this is so sad to hear. I hope the next president can do a strong job like Jack.

I think he's retiring, he's been president of SCEA since 2006. It's about time someone else will take over his role. I found out via Gamespot that Shawn Layden will replaced him. I'll quote this part from the article:


Eddie Makuch of Gamespot wrote:
Sony Network Entertainment International (SNEI) VP and COO Shawn Layden will become CEO of SCEA effective April 1, 2014.


So there you go, I hope Shawn Layden is on par as Jack when he become the new CEO of SCEA.
