Honestly never would've expected this. The manga is a sweet read, a nice alternative to what everyone's lives could've been if Kyon had made the other choice, so I'm curious/interested to see how the anime turns out.

Yuki Nagato starring in her own anime show? I wonder if her characteristic there will be different from the one she had in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya? This will be interesting! |

How did it go with Konata in Miyakawa-ke no Kuufuku? Does Aya take roles again? |

Her personality is closer to the one she had during the movie.
Aya returned as Konata in Miyakawa-ke. I'm pretty sure that's her as Miu in Super Robot Wars UX as well. It's a good chance she'll return as Haruhi. |

I for one am very happy to get new Haruhi anime. Considering the anti-sos brigade shows up in the Yuki manga it's the closest we'll ever get to them properly animated.

I won't pretend that I wasn't hoping to see more of the Haruhi LNs adapted, but this is a perfectly fine alternative. I've heard nice things about the manga, so I'm looking forward to it.
