I hope not, the character designs for the adaptation look awesome. I would hate to see them animated poorly, not to mention anything being cut from the manga. I doubt the latter will happen though.

Do you mean animation wise? Because, other than a few still shots and the what-have-you, AoT was pretty great animation wise.

Yeah, I'm in total agreement about the character designs.  I dunno, for me, if the subject matter and/or characters are boring and/or crappy (IMHO of course  ), animation quality don't mean sh- erm... much. 
Anyway, I think this is gonna be a "must see" for me!

Based on the design, it looks all the characters are from Japanese myth. IF you don't like Japanese, there is nothing they can do about it. Those characters appear on alot of different anime too.
