Tom and Jerry? I thought the fad died out years ago. If GokuMew and mewpudding can correct me, that's fine, but I thought Tom and Jerry died out in Japan a long ass time ago.
Aside from that, good job Wreck it Ralph. Awesome movie. But it's not as high as other Pixar/Disney movies. I know the Pixar otaku watched Nemo in flocks and it had one of the biggest opening for any animated film regardless of country of origin, but WIR is not as hot as that. Hope it does better. It looks to be in the top 5 best selling DVDs/BDs by the end of this year.

If I were living in Japan right now, I'd probably be one of the girls who bought the DVD for the fan event ticket too
Even though it isn't unusual for the DVD sales to bump up since it's bundled with a chance to attend the fan event, I didn't expect the sales numbers to be that high.

It's probably because some people buy multiple copies.
