Guys, the title is read Musou Kakyou, not Musou Kagou. Also, it's not Kumiko Inoue, it's Kikuko. Look at the Maikaze site, it says rather clearly that it is her, plus that she has been Belldandy in Oh! My Goddess an so forth.

Rather, the question should be: How in the world did a doujin group manage to get their hands on so many big seiyuu?

It's called: They paid them. Probably a lot.

This doujin group probably has some serious financial backers, if they funded an actual animation.

I hope this isn't the same Touhou "anime" I saw, though it probably is. It had such awful animation I couldn't even attempt to watch it, very amateurish.

Lol, no surprise to see you here posting that question Chibi Wink.
A good question, makes you almost wonder if a doujin group could have anywhere near the amount of money to financially back this up, hence the question. Now I want to find out as well Sad

Yes, because being a dojin work and all, anything less than Production I.G quality is not to be tolerated and is obviously a complete waste of your, mine, and everyone's time. ¬_¬

Also, it's not the same thing you've seen.

So er, yeah.

Congratulations on the amazing double fail.

One question: does this NOT have ecchi or fan-service (referring to bras and undies)???

The average doujin group, through their own means? Doubtful. But given the insane popularity of Touhou, they might be able to pay for it themselves, but if not they'd be able to get sponsorship for it.

Anyway, this is great news for me. I've never really been one for doujin games, but have always had a curiosity about Touhou and now I can just watch the anime. Assuming I can get my hands on it. And I'm loving the voice cast it's got.

I've been hearing nothing but good things about Touhou from friends (can't play the games myself because they're Windows-only), so I'd like to see this OVA.

Yeah, this is good news. I've only played one doujin game(?), the now ancient Tsukihime, and almost died of bored finally. But I would like to try this one.

Um, do have the Internet? Wink

From the, uh, material that I've seen, the ecchi is almost non-existent. The cast of thousands are all lolis for the most part, but apparently rarely sexualized even in fan art.
