Not a surprise at all but its good to know for sure.

Wow I just noticed the "only 30-min after airing in Japan it will already be available" part. Nice, but I'll probably be sleeping at that time. lol

It's interesting that ANN failed to mention that the free users of CR can also enjoy the newest season of Gintama. They only made mention of the premium members' ability to watch the newest season.

However, I am happy that more Gintama is on the way via CR.

No difference. This isn't an advertising corner, and free users being able to watch old Gintama is no news.

Anyone know whether this is an expansion or contraction of the Gintama simulcast region list?

This is the first time I ever recall seeing "all of Europe except for the Iberian and Italian peninsulas". Lots of "UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Portugal", but I don't every recall this particular carve-out.
