I knew the end was coming, but I would have expected it to take a little more than this, since there's a fair amount to wrap up...but then again, these are pretty lengthy chapters, and the final chapter could turn out to be longer than usual too.
Now about that Soul Eater Not... |

So the end is truly near...spoiler[While I feel like things are moving in a bit of a rushed fashion I am looking forward to seeing how the last two chapters will turn out. I suspect soul eater not! may cover a few loose ends but if not, we'll just have to hope the ending satisfies enough.]

What else is there to wrap up?spoiler[they're already fighting Asura, and Shinagami-sama's dead]. I'd say at this point it's clear this series wasn't going any further. Nothing big, just seems like there's a lot of smaller, character-centric things that I'd like to not just be left hanging, and I'm slightly worried some of that might be a little rushed - but we'll just have to wait and see. |

I should probably go back and finish this series. I'm way behind (I think the last chapters I saw were in Yen Plus back when it was in print). I wonder if Ohkubo will go on to make a new series or just continue Not! On a somewhat unrelated note, I hope some of the other popular series (namely Bleach and Naruto which announced they were nearing their conclusion ages ago)Bleach and Naruto will reach their conclusion at some point in the near future. Bleach has been in its final arc for ages and Naruto seems to be slowly crawling towards its climax. I know a lot of people don't want the series to end but I'm more curious what other stories the creators have (the same goes for Soul Eater).
