Are Fushigi Yuugi, Twelve Kingdoms, and Juuni Kokki one and the same anime? I find it strange because I checked the encyclopedia and Fushigi Yuugi has 52 episodes while Twelve Kingdoms and Juuni Kokki have 45.

Twelve Kingdoms is just the English name for Juuni Kokki.

Fushigi Yuugi, OTOH, is an entirely separate and unrelated fantasy series.

The two do share a basic premise of a girl being pulled into a fantasy world where the girl is Someone Important, but they are utterly different in most every other way.
