I hope this means we might have a reboot of the Gantz anime.

This. That filler ending really didn't "fill" much of an ending part for me with the anime. The manga however is spectacular. Seeing as all these series lately are getting reboots to follow the manga: FMA(Brotherhood), and Kai to cut back on filler so far, i feel like Gantz might have a shot at being remade to follow the manga seeing how well those two are doing.

Here's to hopes of a Gantz anime reboot!!
