Do we know what "select online retailers" these are? RightStuf? Amazon? DeepDiscountDVD?
I'm kind of hoping Amazon will be carrying it, as I write for Bureau42.com, and we have a weekly DVD releases feature, though we generally stick to titles released through Amazon. If Amazon carries it, then I'll be able to slip a plug in for ToraDora, as I've seen it and was very impressed by it.

I pre-ordered mine from Rightstuf and it came on June 30th. Not sure about the other retailers.

For some reason, I thought this might be news of NIS dubbing Toradora or something of that nature.
Oh well, a person can hope. Though earlier today, I did play Phantom Brave and like 2004, it still is awesome. Quickly switching from English to Japanese is fun enough (do it fast enough and they almost sound like chipmunks), but the game really is quite light and fun.
In a sense, reminds me of Lunar games. Well detailed art, original and up beat music and battle system that is neither too hard or too easy. And the English track is both hilarious and well done.

Weren't these already for sale on TRSI? If I'm remembering that right then I think NIS is going about this right, extra goodies if you buy it on their site and then available on other sites after a slight delay, sounds fairly reasonable to me.

Besides Rightstuf, RACS has it. In fact, if you are one of the first 200 people to pre-order part 2, you get an even better price(39.99).
Surprisingly, Amazon does not have either title.
