What the heck? I thought for sure Aniplex USA would have gone after this one...though I guess with the negative perception it's gotten they decided to let someone else take the risk.
Not sure how much interest I'd actually have in getting this though. Might get it, if they go for the old cast.

ONLY... and I mean ONLY... if they get the Media Blaster's cast.
The Monster Island cast that ADV used for the three films was HORRIBAD.
I'd much rather they start fresh with a completely new cast then get those guys back. Although to be fair, Gray Haddock's version of Sanosuke was okay.

I assume you mean the old old cast that was actually good and not the "Samurai X" one (not the OVA Samurai X, the re-dubbed/renamed TV series one)

Yeah I mean the Bang Zoom cast. Guess I should have been more specific

The "Samurai X" dub by Sony IS the original dub while MB's was done a few years later.

I'm glad it got licensed. I bet sentai will try to get as much original cast as they can. They did it with K-On. They don't seem to be like ADV was with the casts but we will see.

Too much negativity here.
I'm just glad it got licensed. More Kenshin is good. Thank you Sentai Filmworks!

Perhaps.
But at least it isn't Reflections.

Wasn't there supposed to be a new Kenshin TV anime? Maybe this is part of the deal to get that.

Wow. This was unexpected. Even though I wasn't too thrilled with what I saw of the New Kyoto Arc, I will definitely be picking this up to go alongside my other Kenshin DVDs. It'll be interesting to hear the dub, especially if Sentai manages to get back the old Bang Zoom cast.
