Sweet. I just hope it finishes up that particular arc. Though, frankly, I'd prefer she revise the art in general, since the anime really makes her sense of movement and detail amateur, by comparison. In fact, screw it. Just gimme an anime sequel instead. BTW, the anime appears to be on Hulu!

I wonder what she's been doing for 8 years..? Or what 8 years away from drawing manga has done to her artwork...
In any case, this is an old favorite so I'm excited. |

I read somewhere that she had some sort of accident with her hand and couldn't draw for a while. Not sure exactly what though. I would love to see the series resumed though. I love the manga and the anime is one of my favorites.

If ANN's credits are right, apparently she's been working in anime as a producer.... it looks like she started in anime, went to making manga, then back to anime for awhile. Unless there's 2 Yokos, and ANN flubbed it in the encyclopedia. person#689 The fact that the anime credits do have a gap where DoDarkness would go makes me wonder if it is indeed all her- it looks like there were assorted shows in the 80's/early 90's, and then some shows around 2001 (when DoD went on hiatus), like Prince of Tennis. |

Holy cow, I thought this day would never come! I don't even remember what happened in the last volume, it's been so long... Great news, though!

Wow. This is really shocking after so long! Unfortunately, this doesn't necessarily mean that she's actually going to continue it, just that what she had already done anyway is actually gonna be made available in a different form.
Maybe we'll be lucky though and this IS a sign that she's planning on continuing it. *crosses fingers* |

I gave up hope that the mangaka would continue it long ago...but after seeing this, it renewed my hope. I really, really hope she does continue it. It would make me beyond happy. |

8 years..? This makes D.N.Angel's, D.Gray-Man's, and HunterXHunter's hiatuses look minuscule in comparison...
