Anime Expo 2005 will host the SPJA OVA Chalenge, participants are invited to submit OVAs no longer than 5-minutes in length dealing with onbe of three topics (The Spirite of Anime, AnimeExpo, International Anime Fansom), with awards givenout for Best of Show, Best Technical and Best Artistic. According to the AX website, the official and complete rules will be posted shortly."

Seriously, folks, how goddamn hard is it to spellcheck something? Normally the front page is full of typos but this is ridiculous.

A little quality control would be nice. You know, just a LITTLE.

I wonder how these films will do? 5 minutes is awfully long for an Amateur animation competition.

I'm guessing most of the enteries will be done on Flash.
