I think this would be like the mentality of any type of fan who can take a grudge or obsession too far. It's like the movie "Misery," where if somebody were to threaten a devoted fan's enjoyment of their hobby, then that fan would threaten to torture or kill the source of their frustration. In this case, maybe her poor performance in a particular series had pushed some fans to a breaking point. Or maybe there's some weird, stalker-like grudge among fans that's been around this poor voice actress for some time. Who knows. What sucks is that hardcore anime fans in Japan seem to go all out with making their frustrations known, especially given the fact that this kind of thing happened to other actresses in the past. |

When there are f***tards what stab anyone who got in their way just because their avatar got deleted, this doesn't surprise me. I think they should start taking DNA samples from anyone that looks and acts like an otaku in the anime and manga shops.

I hope that she's going to be okay and that it's just a bad prank. Yurika Ochiai is one of my favorite seiyuu and she voices ToHeart2's Konomi Yuzuhara. Konomi is my favorite anime character and I have really enjoyed Yurika Ochiai's work as Konomi Yuzuhara. I wish for her safety.
