The packaging for Funi's seasoned dvd sets are really flimsy. Is it like that or does it have some quality to it?

Compared to a Japanese release? Nowhere near. If you're looking for packaging, FUNi's Blu-ray releases aren't quality. It seems like they are using that flimsy stockboard on pretty much all of their releases. The Blu-ray logos across the top aren't too attractive either. They are affordable though.

I wish Funi would start using chipboard(same stuff they use for their artbox releases) for their thinpacks. Adv's older thinpacks, as well as Geneon's and Nozomi's are great in that regard. I have to agree with you guys about the flimsy carboard stuff. I ordered Funi's Gungrave boxset online and by the time I got it, it was messed up pretty bad.

Damn man. That's always a fear of mine when ordering FUNi collections. My Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's set was pretty damaged due to shipping. Sell that Gungrave collection and get the artbox with singles. You can probably find them for pennies now. Can't say much for the show but the box is absolutely amazing looking.
