    Public List
  1. Obviously, I haven't finished these yet (so much anime and manga, yet so little time!!!).
  2. Seen/Read All (public list)

Seen some Rating
Ryoko's Case File (TV)
OK, so I'm definitely going to use the 3-episode rule.....
  1. Ginza Crime Tower (Part I)"| You definitely need to suspend your disbelief because this is a supernatural/horror piece. 9/11
  2. "Ginza Crime Tower (Part II)"| Yeah, turn off your brain because this is brain candy! 9/11
  3. "Sakuradamon Case"| An episodic episode..... So Sakuraddamon is a subway station..... A reporter and a photographer are led around by their noses.....
  4. "Musashino Twilight"| A hybrid of a Homo Sapiens and a H. Sapiens ancestor is created ─ but is fated to die. 10/11
  5. "Maid in Kasumigaseki"
    The plot is nonsensical. 3/11
Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend Flat (TV)
SaiKano (live-action movie)
It's difficult to do SFX very well.....
So-so
Seven of Seven (TV)
  • HooplaDigital lists title as "NANA Seven of Seven"
  • Curiously enough, this aired just around the time that the original "Fruits Basket" was also broadcast.
    1. "Does Nana Times Seven Equal Nana?"
When Nana interrupts her grandfather's experiment, the accident that follows splits her into six alter egos, in addition to her "complete" self.
So as I was watching this episode I was thinking in the back of my mind as to whether or not to rate it at 8/11 (Good) or 9/11 (Very Good) and the deciding factor for me was the usage of Scott Joplin. *shrugs*
    2. "Does School Plus Seven Nanas Equal Chaos?"
Nana and her friend, Hitomi, attempt to navigate school with the six "alter egos." What could possibly go wrong? 9/11
    3. "Can seven Nanas make one Nana?"
Costumes arrive at grandfather's for repair but the "girls" have other plans for them.
I actually found myself smiling during the episode! How strange..... 10/11
    4. "Who you gonna call? The Nana Rangers?"
The "selves" work together to get Nana to study successfully. Even as the strategies to study differ, and get interrupted, has Nana aced the exam?
I find this unexpectedly endearing..... 10/11
  • Shirobako (TV)
Willag Crisha recommends it. 24 ep.s
Also, see "Sakura Quest" (25 ep.s)
Sing a Bit of Harmony (movie)
Yes, it's sappy; but it touched my heart.
    Masterpiece
    Skull-face Bookseller Honda-san (TV)
    12 ep.s
    1. If you can accept the limited animation, then all bibliophiles should like this series.
    Spy×Family (TV)
    rated episode 1
    watch dub
So, as of ep.#2, I would say that if you suspend enough belief, then this will be a thoroughly enjoyable series.
ep.#5| What a goofy episode. The fireworks were nicely animated, though! 9/11
    Excellent
    Spy×Family (TV 2)
    rated episode 13
    1. Rebecca Silverman wrote:
These first three episodes form a nicely contained arc, and while there's clearly a lot of story left to tell, it's a nice way to open the second cour. The Forger family has expanded, Damian's crush on Anya is stymied by the sheer Anyaness of Anya, and Yor finally feels like she's getting to come into her own a bit more. So welcome to the family, Bond. You're going to fit right in.
    (The) Story of Saiunkoku (TV)
    39 ep.s (total)
    Excellent
    Sword Art Online: Alicization (TV)
Tales of Zestiria: Dōshi no Yoake (special)
It seems to be a compilation OVA.....
    So-so
    Tenchi Forever!: The Movie
Haruna says Tenchi will forget everything but Tenchi does remember.....

    This memory business is contradictory.

    Excellent (dub & sub)
    Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki (OAV 2/1994)
      • Baby hijinks.
      • Infants cannot maneuver like that [Con]
      • To be continued.....
