Ah! My Goddess (TV) |
Excellent |
Includes the 2nd season, movie and the OVA's. OVA's are especially good. AMG is what defines magical-girlfriend genre for me.. as well as the words "sweet and fluffy". I enjoy this series just as much as I enjoy it's manga. Definitely one of the best pieces inside it's genre. |
(The) Familiar of Zero (TV) |
Excellent |
I felt that 2nd season was a little bit worse, but it's great nevertheless. Loli tsundere lead voiced by Rie Kugimiya, plus romance, plus comedy, plus some action... Signed. |
Kaze no Stigma (TV) |
Excellent |
It's just good in anything it does, when it picks up a genre or an aspect, it excels in it, something many other shows fail to do. It's comedy is funny, action is flashy, drama is heartbreaking and romance is.. romantic. |
Kimagure Orange Road (TV) |
Very good |
Includes the movie which is basically the conclusion of the TV. I felt that OVA's were a little bit worse but they're still great. I myself consider it to be a classic in romance genre.. Anyone who enjoys romance anime should watch this series... |
Looking Up At The Half-Moon (TV) |
Masterpiece |
The best combination of drama and romance I've ever seen. 6 episodes of this show brings more satisfaction then many of the same genre 26-episode shows out there. |
Maison Ikkoku (TV) |
Masterpiece |
Undoubtedly my top 1. The combination of romance, comedy and drama is just perfect. I'm so grateful that this piece exist. |
Monster (TV) |
Masterpiece |
One of the best pieces I ever seen. The combination of mystery, detective, psychology mixed with heavy realism, makes you sit near this show biting your fingers till they bleed. |
Please Teacher! (TV) |
Masterpiece |
Includes the special OVA episode. I truly consider it to be a new generation (not talking about classics like KOR or Maison Ikkoku) romance masterpiece. |
Shakugan no Shana (TV) |
Excellent |
Includes the 2nd season. I was always an action-romance combination sucker.. as well as tsundere characters.. Shana got those two combined (and a loli female lead voiced by Rie Kugimiya as a bonus). |
Strawberry Panic! (TV) |
Excellent |
Best yuri I've seen, period. I don't think I'd ever be that much into yuri as I'm now if it weren't for Strawberry Panic! |
Welcome to the NHK (TV) |
Masterpiece |
This show brings up very difficult society problems in a very interesting manner. I think everyone should et least see this show once, though to fully understand and appreciate it, I think a few views would be necessary. One could really do a sociology project on it. |
