Funimation Adds Code Geass, Tales of the Abyss, Witch Hunter Robin, More

Anime studio Sunrise announced at its panel at Otakon on Saturday that Funimation has licensed the following anime titles:
- Tales of the Abyss
- Witch Hunter Robin
- Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion
- Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2
- Angel Links
- Crest of the Stars
- Banner of the Stars
- Banner of the Stars II
- Passage of the Stars - Birth
Tales of the Abyss, based on Namco Bandai Games' PlayStation 2 role-playing game, originally aired in 2008-2009. Bandai Entertainment previously released the series on DVD in 2011-2012. Witch Hunter Robin originally aired in 2002, and Bandai Entertainment had released the 26-episode series on DVD in 2003-2006.
The first season of Code Geass originally aired in Japan in 2006-2007, and the second season aired in 2008. Bandai Entertainment previously released both series on DVD in North America.
Angel Links, which is a spinoff of Outlaw Star, originally aired in 1999. Bandai Entertainment released the 13-episode series on DVD in North America in 2001-2006.
The 13-episode Crest of the Stars sci-fi drama originally aired in 1999. The sequel series Banner of the Stars and Banner of the Stars II aired in 2000 and 2001. The one-episode Passage of the Stars - Birth special aired in 2000. Bandai Entertainment previously released all four anime in North America on DVD.
Sunrise producer Masayuki Ozaki had revealed in May that the company was in talks with Sentai Filmworks and Funimation to distribute former Bandai Entertainment titles.
