Momoiro Clover Z Duke it Out Saiyan Style in Dragon Ball Z Theme MV

The girls of Momoiro Clover Z donned their Dragon Ball Z-inspired costumes to battle it out Saiyan style in the music video preview for "'Z' no Chikai" (Oath of Z), the theme song for the upcoming Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' film. The music video's backgrounds shows off places that should be familiar to DBZ fans, like Master Roshi's house, Vegeta's space pod, Capsule Corporation, and more.

The CD will be released in two versions on April 29. The first edition version includes a Blu-ray with the song's music video and the additional music track "Romantic Kongaragatteru" (Tangled Up in Romantic). The CD also includes karaoke versions of both songs. The special edition jacket shows the girls in Frieza costumes, while the reverse side is a similar image but through a scouter. The standard single features an anime-style cover, the "Romantic Kongaragatteru" track, and a cover of the Dragon Ball Z opening theme "Cha-la Head-Cha-la."

A producer at Toei Animation said all the members of Momoiro Clover Z are big Dragon Ball fans. All five members also have speaking roles in the film.

Momoiro Clover Z previously performed the Sailor Moon Crystal theme songs. The girls dressed up as Sailor Guardians for the cover of that CD.

Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ opens in Japan next week and Funimation will host the world premiere in Los Angeles on April 11.
