I am leery of series that combine maid uniforms with "master".

I dunno...the whole maid genre has always been about male wish-fullfillment and very little else (with some exceptions, like the excellent Mahoromatic) and the girls in the artwork up in the Encylopdeia look kind of...young? A maid/lolicon show is the last thing the world needs. It just screams creepy to me.

I dunno... He is my Master comes off as the embodiment of that "wish fulfillment" yet remains fairly smart, cute and funny. It's nice for once to see the guy actually BE perverted (and fail) instead of being some wussy guy who is introverted and gets doted on with unwanted attention.

I am inspired to create a new mystery series called: Someone Is Killing the Creators of Harem Shows. Twisted Evil

And after seeing the post below, I am reminded that few seem to understand hyperbole. Perhaps it's time to retreat to the hut on the side of the mountain.

Except the guy that directed He Is My Master (as well as Mahoromatic) also directed Wings of Honneamise...

I don't think there's ever been a director, animation or live action, that's sunk as low as this guy.

No, they are different persons.

Hiroyuki YAMAGA (山賀 博之), director of Wings of Honneamise and Mahoromatic, is not involved in Kore ga Watashi no Goshujin-sama, which is directed by Shouji SAEKI (佐伯 昭志), director of Mahoromatic Summer Special and KonoMini.

I guess they picked that title, because "I Dream of Jeannie" was taken.
