Details About Second Saint Seiya Omega Opening in Brazil
Rodrigo Rossi published details about the production of the new track
RIO DE JANEIRO, RJ – April 09, 2013 – Singer Rodrigo Rossi, known for his work singing the themes of Animes in Brazil and featured on titles such as Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas, Dragon Ball Kai and most recently Saint Seiya: Omega, announced the details about the next production in line, the second opening for this last series, called “Nova Geração” (Next Generation). The release in Brazil is set for late 2013, via Play Arte.
Originally recorded by Japanese group Root Five, the song will receive a full version in Brazilian Portuguese to be recorded together with the edited version for the opening sequence. It is still unsure if this version will feature as bonus content in the DVDs. The chosen studio for that was DL Studios, in Guarujá (SP), Brazil.
The edited version, commonly known as TV Size, however, will be recorded at Do it! Studios, in São Paulo (SP), Brazil. As a request from Rossi himself, this version will feature special guests such as Edu Falaschi (former ANGRA frontman), Ricardo Cruz (a member of Japanese anime music supergroup JAM PROJECT) and Larissa Tassi, all of them singers for previous themes of the series. Tassi has recently recorded a duet with Rodrigo for the first opening of OMEGA, in the latest version for Pegasus Fantasy. This is the first time that something of this nature is done and it is no secret that Rossi has been trying to make it happen for years now.
Both versions of the song will be produced by Diógenes Lima, producer and keyboardist for OPUS V, who debuted in OMEGA by producing the first opening, and is already a long time partner of Rossi in both live and studio contributions.
TWITTER: Still regarding OMEGA, Rossi has tweeted on April 6th that he is already working on the series' third opening, which aired in Japan at the very same day, he wrote “1st draft for OMEGA OP3 done (…) easy guys, we haven't even published the first one yet, we record the second one in a few days. Number 3 will still take a while to come out”
