Todd Haberkorn, Mega Ran Join Tekkoshocon X Roster In Pittsburgh
February 17, 2012 - PITTSBURGH, Pa - Pittsburgh's Tekkoshocon, celebrating its tenth year, has announced the addition of voice actor Todd Haberkorn and recording artist Mega Ran to its roster of Guests of Honor.
Todd Haberkorn has served in several roles related to anime production, but is best known as the voice of several high-profile characters in recent anime releases. From Tsukune Aono in Rosario + Vampire to Ling Yao in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Haberkorn voices a range of personalities. Fans will also recognize him as Death the Kid in Soul Eater, Keroro in Sgt. Frog, North Italy in Hetalia - Axis Powers, and Hikaru Hitachiin in Ouran High School Host Club, as well as a variety of other characters from dozens of anime. Tekkoshocon opens on Wednesday, March 21 with an evening of screenings and games at the Hollywood Theater in Dormont. The convention then moves to the Wyndham Grand Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh for four full days from Thursday, March 22 through Sunday, March 25. Preregistration for entry to Tekkoshocon X is available at a discounted rate via the tekkoshocon.com webpage through February 29, 2012.
