Bandai Entertainment Acquires Two Tales of the Abyss Manga
March 24, 2011 (Cypress, CA) –Bandai Entertainment announced today they have acquired two new manga series, Tales of the Abyss: Asch: The Bloody and Tales of the Abyss: Jade's Secret Memories. Bandai Entertainment had previously announced the acquisition of the 26 episode Tales of the Abyss anime series which will be coming to North America in June of this year.
Asch the Bloody by Hana Saitō and Rin Nijyo recounts the story of the anime from the point of view of the cloned God-General Asch. Jade's Secret Memories focuses on the character of Jade Curtiss and is from manga-ka Ayumi Kano.
Both the anime and the manga are based on the Tales of the Abyss RPG video game which will debut on Nintendo 3DS in 2011 and is based on the long running Tales series of games from Namco Bandai.
The new manga are scheduled to debut in the Summer of 2011.
