The July issue of Square Enix's Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine revealed on June 11 that Yoshiki Tonogai (Doubt, Judge, Secret) will launch a new series titled Ikitemasu ka? Honda-kun (Honda, Are You Alive?) in the magazine's August issue on July 12.
The magazine's official Twitter account posted a visual for the "romantic comedy" series.
The images feature the following descriptions: "Being alive is wonderful," "The blue sky that continues on forever," "On this street smeared with dark red blood, the pale corpses are striding," and "Today is the perfect weather for a date!!?".
Tonogai's Doubt manga ran in Monthly Shōnen Gangan from 2007-2009 and Yen Press released the series in English. After finishing Doubt, Tonogai launched another psychological horror manga, Judge, in the same magazine from 2010-2012. Yen Press also released that series in English. A live-action version of Judge opened in Japan in 2013.
Tonogai then launched the Secret manga in Square Enix's Monthly Shōnen Gangan in 2013, and ended it in 2015. Yen Press also released the series digitally and in print.
