S.A's Minami to End Komomo Confiserie Manga Next Month
posted on by Jennifer Sherman
Hakusensha's Hana to Yume magazine is announcing on Wednesday that Maki Minami (Special A, Seiyū ka—!) will end her Komomo Confiserie manga in two more chapters. The final chapters will include color pages, and the series will conclude in the magazine's first 2015 issue on December 5.
The story centers on a pampered girl in a wealthy family who is forced into a new life after her father's company goes bankrupt. Komomo gets a part-time job and reunites with Natsu, the son of her family's former favorite confectioner. Natsu used to have to put up with the spoiled girl's whims, but now he has returned to Japan as a successful confectioner himself. The pair's relationship changes with their social status as the two meet for the first time in ten years.
Minami's manga launched in Hana to Yume on May 20. The first chapter was 62 pages long and featured a color opening page.
Minami ended her Seiyū ka—! manga in the same magazine in 2013. Viz Media is publishing the series under the title Voice Over!: Seiyuu Academy, and the seventh volume shipped in North America last month.
Viz Media also published Minami's S.A (Special A) manga in North America. Special A inspired a television anime series in 2008 that Sentai Filmworks released in North America.
