Tales of Phantasia to End iOS Service in Japan in May

Bandai Namco Games announced this week that it will end the Japanese iOS release of Tales of Phantasia on May 29 "due to various circumstances." While the message appears on the Japanese version of the game, it does not appear on the English version.
On May 29, Japanese iOS users will not be able to start the app or use the service.
The game debuted for iOS in Japan last September, and it just debuted on iOS in North America in January.
