Magical Sisters Yoyo & Nene Film Trailer Streamed with English, Chinese Subtitles

Chinese anime news website Aniarc began streaming the trailer for the anime film Magical Sisters Yoyo & Nene (Majocco Shimai no Yoyo to Nene) on Tuesday with English and Chinese subtitles. The film will screen in Hong Kong and Taiwan on March 15 and 16.
The "traditional magical fantasy" from the anime studio ufotable (Fate/Zero, Kara no Kyōkai - the Garden of sinners, Tales of Symphonia the Animation) and King Records' Starchild label (Penguindrum, Bodacious Space Pirates) follows sisters who are magical girls. Yoyo and Nene live in a forest where they run a famous store for magic spells, and the two are quite skilled despite being young, but for some reason they always cause an uproar.
Sumire Morohoshi and Ai Kakuma led the cast as the great Picture Book Level witch Yoyo and the best Practice Book Level witch Nene, respectively.

Miyuki Sawashiro as Takahiro, a straightforward elementary school boy
Takahiro is a resident of the world Yoyo wanders into. He is bewildered by the magical events unfolding before his eyes and is suspicious of Yoyo's claim of being a witch.
Takeo asks for Yoyo's assistance after his parents are suddenly turned into monsters. Rio Sasaki as Aki, the taciturn daughter of Takeo and Takahiro's relative

Oyone is the strongest witch in the world and one of only three colossal witches. She is the sisters' grandmother who uses moonlight to achieve eternal youth. Kyōko Hikami as Oyomi, the world's greatest necromancer
Oyomi can revive people who were unable to live out there lifespans due to certain circumstances. She is the younger twin sister to Oyone as well as Bihaku's original owner.
Takayuki Hirao (Gyo, Futakoi Alternative) directed the film, and Yuka Shibata (Kimi ni Todoke, Hiyokoi) handled the character designs and served as chief animation director. Takuro Takahashi (The Garden of Sinners, Gyo) served as assistant director, and Mikako Komatsu (Bodacious Space Pirates, K) performed the film's theme song. Shiina scored the film's music.
The film opened in Japan on December 28.
