Fist of the North Star Gets Special Chapter in March

According to the official Monthly Comic Zenon website, writer Yūshi Kawata and artist Yukito will publish a special chapter of Fist of the North Star in the May issue of Comic Zenon on March 25.
Manga creator Yoshiji Yamaguchi ended a Kinyoku no Garuda - Nanto Goshasei Zenshi spinoff of the popular 1980s manga in Comic Zenon last year. Also as a part of the 30th anniversary celebrations of the original manga, a new television anime adaptation of Kaijo's DD Fist of the North Star manga aired in conjunction with the manga. Fruits Basket's Akitarō Daichi directed that anime.
The May issue will also include the first chapter of Gifū Dōdō!! Naoe Kanetsugu -Maeda Keiji Hana-gatari, the final series in Tetsuo Hara and Nobuhiko Horie's story about samurai Maeda Keiji.
Buronson and Tetsuo Hara's original post-apocalyptic fighting manga Fist of the North Star ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1983-1988. Kawata and Yukito previously worked together on the Mogitate Idol Ningen, Gakuen Kakumeiden Mitsurugi (School Revolution Legend Mitsurugi), and Don Quixote manga.
