Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Slated for PS4 on April 14

Square Enix announced at its "Final Fantasy XIV: Full Active Time Event in Osaka" on Saturday that Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will be released for the PlayStation 4 on April 14. Pre-orders for the game will start on January 27.
Beta testing for the PlayStation 4 version will open on February 22, the same day the console launches in Japan. The beta will be open to PlayStation 4 users worldwide.
Square Enix released Final Fantasy XIV Online for personal computers in September 2010. After criticism from fans, the company revealed an updated version of the game titled Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn that adds a new world and story. The game launched for Windows PC and PlayStation 3 on August 27 and has over 1.5 million accounts.
