Square Enix North America began streaming the third behind-the-scenes video on Tuesday for Square Enix's Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII PlayStation 3 game. Lightning's English voice actress Ali Hillis narrates the video, which features English-subtitled interviews with some of the game's staff.
The company posted the first behind-the-scenes video in August, and the second video in December.
Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII shipped in Japan last month. The game will arrive in the United States for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on February 11, and then in Europe on February 14, and the English release will feature a collector's edition with an 80-page hardcover artbook, a silver-embossed pocket watch, and a DLC code for an Aerith Gainsborough costume for Lightning. The game's release in the Americas and Europe will also feature the Japanese audio track as DLC that will be free for the first two weeks after the game ships.
Players who pre-order the game in North America and Europe will be able to unlock Cloud's uniform and buster sword as equipment for Lightning. Lightning is also getting a Yuna costume from Final Fantasy X and various samurai costumes, as well as a Miqo'te costume from Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn with shields with motifs from the game's three city-states: Limsa Lominsa, Gridania, and Ul'dah.
The game will represent the final chapter in Lightning's story. The game centers around a 13-day countdown until the end of the world, and players must save humanity within 13 days and 13 nights.
