posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
The February issue of Kodansha's Bessatsu Friend (Betsufure) magazine is announcing on Saturday that manga creator Miwa Ueda will end her Aruite Ikō (Let's Go for a Walk) series in the March issue on February 13.
The story follows a 12-year-old who dreams of becoming a manga creator. She enters middle school and deals with the uneasiness of her changing life. Ueda launched the series in 2012 and the second compiled volume shipped in November.
Ueda serialized her Rokomoko manga in the same magazine from December 2011 to July 2012.
Tokyopop published Ueda's Peach Girl manga in North America, while Funimation released the anime adaptation. Del Rey published six of the Japanese volumes from Ueda's Papillon - Hana to Chō manga. Bessatsu Friend serialized both of these manga and her Pure-Mari series.
The March issue will also contain the final chapter of Ruka Ichinose's Shiny Doll manga.
