posted on by Jennifer Sherman
The July issue of Kodansha's Bessatsu Friend magazine will announce on Wednesday that Miwa Ueda's Loco Moco manga will end in the magazine's next issue on July 13. The Peach Girl creator launched the series in the magazine this past December.
Before the manga's debut, the magazine described the story: "Hiroko has fallen in love with Takeru at her school's broadcasting club. Just when she is about to confess her love, her rival appears!?"
Kodansha released the manga's first compiled volume in Japan on April 13.
Tokyopop published Ueda's Peach Girl manga in North America, while Funimation released the anime adaptation. Del Rey published six of the Japanese volumes from Ueda's Papillon - Hana to Chō manga. Bessatsu Friend serialized both of these manga and more recently, her Puri-Mari series.
