Yumi's Odd Odyssey Slated for 3DS in N. America in January

Video game developer and publisher Natsume, Inc announced on Thursday that it will release Agatsuma Entertainment's (Code of Princess) 3DS game Yumi's Odd Odyssey (Sayonara Umihara Kawase) in January. Natsume first announced plans to release the title in October. The company planned to release the PSP version of the game stateside but it was never released.
Agatsuma Entertainment general manager Rica Kuno Matsumura confirmed with Siliconera in April that overseas release plans were in the works.
The game was released in Japan this year. The franchise follows a school girl in a world of strange fish where players use a grappling hook to solve puzzles and avoid enemies. Originally released for the Super Famicom, the franchise has had sequels and ports for the PlayStation, Nintendo DS, and PlayStation Portable.
