Neptunia's Idea Factory Sets Up Branch in California

Video game company Idea Factory announced on Monday that it formed a new branch based out of California. Idea Factory International will "focus on providing general and overall information regarding such Idea Factory properties to North American and European fans, as well as strengthen the Idea Factory brand around the globe." The company mentions animation, video games, and social apps as properties it wants to make available globally.
Idea Factory previously released its titles such as Hyperdimention Neptunia, Record of Agarest War and the Hakuōki game series in North America and Europe through third-party publishers like NIS America (NISA) and Aksys Games.
Former NISA president Harusato Akenaga will serve as Idea Factory International's chief executive officer. Akenaga stepped down as the president of NISA last year before signing on to work at the Yokohama-based Preeapp game company. He is still listed as the president and CEO of Preapp game company.
