Tokyo Ravens TV Anime to Premiere in October

The September issue of Fujimi Shobo's Dragon Magazine will reveal on Saturday that the anime adaptation of Kōhei Azano's Tokyo Ravens light novel series will premiere on Tokyo MX in October.
The school supernatural fantasy centers around Harutora, a boy from a branch of the Tsuchimikado family of onmyōdō occult practitioners. However, he lacks the ability to see spirit energy, so he is now just an ordinary high school student. Natsume, a girl who was Harutora's childhood friend and the next head of the Tsuchimikado family, reunites with Harutora and changes his future.
The official website for the anime had announced the cast and staff in May.

Kaito Ishikawa (Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet's Ledo) will star as Harutora Tsuchimikado and Kana Hanazawa (Dog Days Noir Vinocacao, My Little Monster's Chizuru Ōshima) as Natsume Tsuchimikado. The series also stars Hisako Kanemoto as Hokuto, Ryōhei Kimura as Tōji Ato, Ayane Sakura as Suzuka Dairenji, Aki Toyosaki as Kon, Eri Kitamura as Kyōko Kurahashi, and Hiro Shimono as Tenma Momoe.
Azano launched the series in May 2010 with illustrations by Sumihei, and the ninth volume of the light novel series went on sale on in March. The first volume of Azano's spinoff light novel series Tokyo Ravens EX1 party in nest ships on Saturday. Atsushi Suzumi is drawing the main manga adaptation of the series in Kadokawa Shoten's Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine.
