Tokyo Ravens Light Novels Have Anime In the Works
posted on by Egan Loo
Japanese publisher Fujimi Shobo revealed on Friday that Kōhei Azano's Tokyo Ravens light novel series has an anime project in the works. The school supernatural fantasy centers around Harutora, a boy from a branch of the Tsuchimikado family of onmyōdō occult practitioners. However, he lacks the ability to see spirit energy, so he is now just an ordinary high school student. Natsume, a girl who was Harutora's childhood friend and the next head of the Tsuchimikado family, reunites with Harutora and changes his future.
Azano launched the series in May of 2010 with illustrations by Sumihei, and the eighth volume of the light novel series will go on sale on Saturday. Atsushi Suzumi is drawing the main manga adaptation of the series in Kadokawa Shoten's Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine.
