The 33rd issue of Shueisha's Shonen Jump magazine is announcing on Monday the voice cast of the anime adaptation of Naoshi Komi's Nisekoi manga:
- Kōki Uchiyama as Raku Ichijō
- Nao Tōyama as Chitoge Kirisaki
- Kana Hanazawa as Kosaki Onodera
The manga's Vomic (voiced comic) version featured Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Raku, Haruka Tomatsu as Chitoge, and Hisako Kanemoto as Kosaki. Akiyuki Shinbo will direct the anime at animation studio Shaft.
In addition, the magazine is revealing the anime's new original character Mimiko Kiki, who was created by the original creator. The character's speech bubble reads, “I will chase after information for the anime!!” The magazine also hints that she might appear in the manga as well.
Komi first made Nisekoi as a one-shot manga in Shueisha's seasonal Jump NEXT! magazine in 2011. Komi then launched the manga as a regular series in the main Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in November 2011. Viz Media's English version of Shonen Jump began serializing the manga last year.
