Romeo Tanaka's Aura Anime Film Blu-ray/DVD Slated for September

The Blu-ray Disc and DVD release of the anime film adaptation of Romeo Tanaka's Aura: Maryūinkōga Saigo no Tatakai light novel will ship on September 18.
The limited first edition comes in a "Super Jewel" box drawn by original character designer mebae with an illustrated booklet drawn by character designer Kazuaki Morita. The booklet will publish a manga tentatively titled AURA another episodes by story supervisor Romeo Tanaka and artist Koïchiro Hoshino, a soundtrack CD, and a limited edition postcard set. Video extras in both the limited first edition and regular edition include Nobunaga Shimazaki and Kana Hanazawa's stage greetings on opening day, a trailer collection, and the preview promotional video collection.
The 2008 school romantic comedy novel revolves around Ichirō "Menzu" Satō, a high school freshman who forgets his textbook at school one day. Ichirō encounters a beautiful girl while sneaking back into his school in the dead of night. The girl calls herself a witch from a parallel world. Ichirō used to suffer delusions of grandeur like this, but vowed to stop so that he can successfully re-invent himself as a freshman in high school.
The film opened in theaters in Japan on April 13.
