New Transformers Go! Trailer, Product Ads Streamed

The official YouTube channel for Takara Tomy began streaming new trailer for its upcoming anime DVD series Sanjōgattai Transformers Go! on Friday. The trailer focuses on the Samurai Team: Kenzan (police car), who wields two swords, Jinbu (jet), who will never lose a battle of speed, and Ganoh (firetruck), who has unparalleled power. The three can combine in multiple ways to create Go-Kenzan, Go-Jinbu and Go-Ganoh, depending on who is the head. The story follows a boy who is tasked with protecting "legend discs" with the help of the Transformers in the Warring States period and in the modern day.
Takara Tomy also began streaming two 15-second television commercials for Transformers Go! toy tie-ins. The commercials are the same, excluding two different bonus products shown at the end of the commercials. Figures shown include the Samurai Team and the Shinobi Team: Gekisōmaru, Hishōmaru and Sensuimaru. Just like the anime series, the figures in each team can be merged in three different ways. The Samurai Team goes on sale in June, followed by one figure from the Shinobi Team in July, August, and September.
The first ad promotes the "Shining Optimus Prime Blaster" offered to people who have the TF Tickets and buy Transformers toys. The second ad promotes the Arms Micron toys offered to people who buy the Samurai Team.
Takara Tomy launched the Transformers Go! toy line in April. The anime will be bundled on DVDs with Shogakukan's Terebi-kun (TV-kun) magazine (for the Samurai arc) and Kodansha's TV Magazine (for the Shinobi arc) beginning this July.
