39-year-old Fukuoka Suspect Was Arrested for Uploading

The Association of Copyright for Computer Software (ACCS) reported on Monday that the 39-year-old unemployed male Kasuga City resident who had an arrest filed on Thursday was accused of uploading. Asahi had reported last week that the suspect from Fukuoka Prefecture was accused of downloading. He is specifically accused of using the file-sharing software Share to upload the fifth episode of Future Diary and the 12th episode of Hyou-ka around September 11 and December 6, as well as the 46th Gintama manga volume around November 3. Furthermore, the authorities say that he uploaded the Nintendo game Fatal Frame: Deep Crimson Butterfly via Perfect Dark around December 6.
Authorities also accuse him of uploading over 10,000 games, animated works, manga, music, and movies using Winny, Share, and Perfect Dark for about a decade.
