5th Yamato 2199 Anime Film's Promo Streamed

Film distributor Shochiku began streaming a promotional video for the Space Battleship Yamato 2199 television anime series and film project's fifth film on Friday. Bōkyō no Gingakan Kūkan (The Homesickness of Intergalactic Space) will open in 12 theaters in Japan on April 13, before going on sale on Blu-ray and DVD on May 28.
Tokyo's Shinjuku Piccadilly theater, Osaka's Namba Parks Cinema, and Nagoya's Midland Square Cinema will hold premium advance screenings for the film on April 12. Tickets that include a bonus set of three B2-size key visual posters are available to Yamato Crew fan club members until March 26. Regular ticket sales will begin on March 29. Limited-edition Blu-ray Discs and other items will be sold at the special screenings.
The project's fifth film is composed of episodes 15-18 of this Space Battleship Yamato remake.
The fourth film, which is composed of episodes 11-14, opened in 12 theaters in Japan on January 12, and was released on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on February 22.
