gdgd Fairies 2nd Season's TV Ad Aired

A 15-second television commercial for the second season of the gdgd Fairies television anime series aired on Monday.
The fully computer-animated series centers around three little fairies with weak magical powers who live inside the trees in Fairy Forest.
Lead voice actresses Suzuko Mimori, Kaoru Mizuhara, and Satomi Akesaka are reprising their roles for the second season. Writer Kōtarō Ishidate will not be returning for the second season. Instead, Taizō Yamamoto and Kazuyuki Osabe are handling the screenplay. Sōta Sugahara will again be handling the planning and character design, and is also serving as director.
Crunchyroll streamed the first season worldwide outside of Japan last year.
The anime is slated to premiere on the Tokyo MX TV station on January 9. An "episode 0" will precede the second season when it airs on December 27.
