posted on by Egan Loo
Geneon Universal Entertainment's Rondo Robe label began streaming the promotional video for the anime adaptation of Idea Factory's Amnesia game.
The story of the original romance game for female players begins on the morning of August 1, when the protagonist wakes up and discovers she has absolutely no memories of the past. A boy appears before her, and he introduces himself as a "spirit" named Orion. The protagonist struggles to regain her memories under the guidance of Orion. She then gets a phone call, but she does not recognize the name on her mobile phone screen. She meets her apparent "boyfriend," despite not knowing his face.
The video debuted at Animate Girls Festival 2012, the same event last month that revealed more of the anime's cast and staff:
- Tetsuya Kakihara as Shin
- Kishô Taniyama as Ikki
- Akira Ishida as Kento
- Satoshi Hino as Tōma
- Kōki Miyata as Ukyō
- Hiromi Igarashi as Orion
- Kaori Nazuka as Heroine
- Animation Production: Brains Base
- Director: Yoshimitsu Ohashi
- Character Design: Maho Yoshikawa
- Series Script Editor: Touko Machida
The opening theme song will be performed by Nagi Yanagi (Jormungand, Waiting in the Summer), and the ending theme song will be performed by Ray (Waiting in the Summer, To Love-Ru -Trouble- Darkness).
The anime will premiere next January.
